This solid wood chair in its classic square structure was calling for something fun to give it some pizzaz.
Fusion Mineral Paint's beautiful color called
azure fit this bill. First step was to power sand the chair to smooth the aging shellac finish and drip areas. note- Whatever shows unpainted will show even more when painted. Once sanded it was given a good cleaning and left to dry.
Fusion Mineral Paint goes on so smoothly especially when using a good synthetic brush. I distressed the edges between and after the second coat. Minimal distressing gives furniture a wee bit of forgiveness when the legs and edges get banged during use. I also sanded with a sanding sponge between coats and after too to just smooth the all in one paint to a satiny smooth feel.
