Vintage High Chair in Natural Wood and Warm White

I love giving old pieces new life. This vintage wooden high chair was my latest makeover project. I am loving the end look, how about you? This solid wood cutie was found by my furniture scouting sister. I messaged the seller sight unseen I would take it. My Mom picked it up and delivered to my door. THANKS family for all your help!

Country Heart Bench Changeup

This solid oak hand crafted bench is well built but the dated heart cut outs and orangy stain begged for a makeover.

We first disassembled it...

sanded the areas where the glue left ridges ...

then cut the heart ends off giving the edges a more modern straight edge.

The the new straight edges were routered to round them to match the original edges.

Scrubbed but and ready to paint

I originally thought a warm white but amazingly for the 4th project in a row I chose a green color. This time it was Country Chic Paint in nocturnal.

I applied 2 coats with new shorty Cling On brush , just as amazing as my favorite Cling On F40 but short handled and holds more paint.

And once both coats were dry, I applied Country Chic clear and antiquing wax to give the matte finish some shine and definition.
